Remo Stars have been confirmed winners of the NFL, the first club side to win the honors from South West Nigeria in 25 years. Julius Berger was the last club side to win the title from the zone in 2000.
Daniel Ogunmodede boys clinched the title on Sunday when they defeated Niger Tornadoes 1-0.
