The All Progressives Congress ,APC candidate, Mrs. Adesola Elegbeji, has cast her ballot in the ongoing election, expressing satisfaction with the conduct of the process.
Speaking shortly after exercising her franchise at her polling unit in Ibido, Ward 15, Mrs Elegbeji commended the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC officials for their timely arrival and smooth handling of the exercise.
She noted that the atmosphere was peaceful, with voters patiently waiting for their turn to cast their votes, and appreciated the security personnel for maintaining order and ensuring a calm environment.
Also,The Ogun State Commissioner for Special Duties, Mrs. Olufunmilayo Efuwape, who monitored voting in her ward, also applauded the peaceful conduct of the election and the strong voter turnout.
Mrs Efuwape emphasized that the electorate had demonstrated unity and maturity by performing their civic duty peacefully.
