Effective communication has been described as a powerful tool for progress in every sphere of life , shaping relationships, inspiring action and driving positive change.
The General Manager, Radio Nigeria Paramount FM, Mrs Oluremi Olugbenro, stated this in Abeokuta while delivering a lecture entitled “Communication, Key to Membership Growth.” at the membership orientation and hangout of the Rotary Club of Abeokuta Royal.
Mrs. Olugbenro emphasized that strategic communication creates awareness, nurtures relationships, strengthens collaboration, and keeps people engaged even in challenging times.
She added that with communication now largely digital, encouraged Rotarians to leverage social media to share inspiring stories that could reshape public perception, attract fresh members and reinforce unity within the club.
Earlier, the United President of the Rotary Club of Abeokuta Royal, Mr John Ogunmuyiwa, highlighted the club’s commitment to expanding its membership base and sustaining service projects.
