Ogun JAMB PRO Encourages Candidates to Use Correct NIN for Registration

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB, has urged prospective candidates and their parents to ensure accurate enrollment for the National Identification Number, NIN to avoid admission complications.

The Public Relations Officer, JAMB Office, Abeokuta, Ogun State, Ms Abiola Adekunle made the appeal in Abeokuta while featuring on Radio Nigeria Paramount FM’s programme “Morning Cruise.”

Ms Adekunle noted that errors in NIN details, such as mismatched names, incorrect dates of birth, or inconsistent information between NIN, WAEC, and NECO records, could block admission opportunities.

She advised parents not to leave the process entirely to schools, and urged candidates to also ensure correct selection of subject combinations for their preferred courses and prepare diligently.

While speaking on JAMB’s preparation ahead of examinations, the State’s JAMB Spokesperson disclosed that the board would periodically conducts appraisal exercises to ascertain that Computer-Based Test, CBT centres across the country are well equipped and ready for the examination
