The Nigeria Union of Journalists NUJ, Ogun State Chapter, has presented an award to the newly appointed General Manager of Paramount FM, Mrs Oluremi Olugbenro in recognition of her
exceptional skills and contributions to the broadcasting industry in the state.
Presenting the award during the monthly Congress of the Union held at Iwe Iroyin, Oke Ilewo Abeokuta, the NUJ State Chairman, Comrade Wale Olarewaju, said the award was to appreciate
her outstanding qualities.
Comrade Olarewaju explained that the award was a testament to the General Manager’s dedication to the media industry and her ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Mr. Olarewaju also expressed confidence that Mrs. Oluremi would leverage her skills and expertise to lift Paramount FM to greater heights.
In their separate remarks, some of the Members of the Union, including Comrades Folake Adeniji, Kazeem Olowe, and Yinka Olukoya, described Mrs. Olugbenro as a goal getter who has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership skills, unwavering dedication, and an unrelenting passion for excellence.
Paramount FM General Manager, Mrs. Oluremi Olugbenro, appreciated the NUJ leadership for the recognition, and
pledged to further strengthen the bond between the station and the union.
