The remains of the late Michael Oyewale, a staff of the Federal Radio Corporation of Nigeria (FRCN), have been laid to rest at his residence in Aba Ibeji, Odo Ọnà Kekere, Ibadan, Oyo State.
Family members, friends, colleagues, and neighbours gathered to pay their final respects to the man fondly known as Baba Alaanu, describing him as a dedicated team player and goal-getter, whose life touched many.

Leading a delegation of staff and management to the burial, General Manager of Paramount FM, Abeokuta, Mrs. Oluremi Olugbenro, said the late Oyewale would always be remembered as a man of peace who was passionate about spreading love and putting others first.
Colleagues of the deceased’s wife, Mrs. Ibiyemi Oyewale in Audit Department of Radio Nigeria Premier FM, Ibadan also described the late Oyewale as a cheerful, compassionate and selfless man.

In a sermon entitled “Before It Is Too Late”, the Reverend Okeniyi Ariyo of Ebenezer Gospel Parish, Osogbo, urged the congregation to rededicate their lives to God, reminding them that death was inevitable, hence the need to strive towards living a meaningful life.
Speaking on behalf of the family, the deceased’s son, Mr. Adeboye Oyewale’s said his father was a kind and caring man whose warmth and guidance would never be forgotten.
Aged 53, Mr Oyewale was until his death on Friday, 8th August 2025, the Head, Marketing Unit of Radio Nigeria Paramount FM, Abeokuta.
